This new line of trekking poles is designed and built to handle the rigors of both multi-day through hikes and alpine talus field approaches alike. I got the Ebertestock Recon Modular Bino Pack to carry my Zeiss Terra ED 42 binoculars. They fit snuggly in the pack with ease. The pack attachments make the binoculars readily available with out fear of dropping or leaving them behind while scouting.
